Rainbow Mochi Cake


Rainbow Mochi Cake: It is one of the top mochi recipes as the colorful appearance and the yummy taste would attract anyone!

Ingredients: Glutinous rice flour – 24 Tablespoon; Sugar – 16 Tablespoon; Baking powder – 1 Teaspoon; Salt – 1 Pinch; coconut milk – 1 cup; Pure Vanilla – 1 Teaspoon; Coconut oil – 4 Tablespoon; Eggs – 2; Beet juice – 1 Tablespoon;

Blueberry juice – 1 Tablespoon; Turmeric powder – 1/2 Teaspoon; Spirulina powder – 1/2 Teaspoon. Directions: Mix the rice flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder in a bowl.

Then add the coconut milk, coconut oil, vanilla extract & eggs.

Mix them well and pour them into four different bowls. Pour different juices & flavor powders in each bowl. Bake them and one of the top mochi recipes is ready!

Mocha Mochi


Mocha Mochi: Ingredients: Sweet rice flour – 1 cup; Sugar – 1 Tablespoon; Fine salt – 1/2 teaspoon; Brewed coffee – 1 cup; Nutella chocolate hazelnut spread – 8 teaspoons; Wheat starch/Cornstarch – 8 tablespoon (for dusting).

Directions: Place dollops of hazelnut spread on a wax paper and freeze them. Mix the sweet rice flour, sugar, salt, and coffee.

Cover and microwave it for 3 minutes so that it becomes sticky. Now spread the mixture and place a piece of frozen hazelnut spread inside it.

Wrap it tightly and serve! We can make eight such mochis and they are one among the top mochi recipes with a chewy chocolaty taste! Do try it and you would definitely like it!

Easy Butter Mochi

Easy Butter Mochi: Ingredients: Sweet rice flour – 1 and a half cup; Sugar -1 cup; Baking Powder – 1 teaspoon; Coconut milk – 1 cup; Melted butter – 1/4 cup; Eggs – 2; Salt – 1 pinch; Pure Vanilla Extract -1 teaspoon.

Directions: Mix the sweet rice flour, sugar and salt in a bowl. Mix coconut milk, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt in another bowl.

Now, pour the wet mixture from bowl-2 to bowl-1. Whisk them together for at least 5 minutes. Pour the mixture into a greased tray and bake it.

The recipe is really simpler but the taste is awesome! It is a must try among the top mochi recipes, so don’t ever miss it!

Mochiyaki

Mochiyaki: This simple dish resembles a cookie in taste but it is much more that!

You can even add fun flavors to make it little interesting and here we are using a light topping.

Ingredients: Mochi – 1 medium; For the sweet miso butter topping: Softened butter – 1/4 cup; Shiromiso – 1 teaspoon; Sugar – 2 teaspoons; Vanilla extract – 1 dash; For the garnish: Soy sauce – 1teaspoon; Nori – 1 teaspoon; Sesame seed – 1/2 teaspoon.

Directions: Cut a mochi block lengthwise to form 1/4th inch thicker blocks each. Toast the mochi blocks evenly with a non-stick pan.

You can even use a toaster or grill to do the same. Mix sugar, vanilla extract, shiromiso and softened butter in a bowl. Now assemble the mixture on a piece of toasted mochi.

Pour a little of soy sauce over it and sprinkle some sesame & nori. The mochi recipe is ready to be served now!
