Who is Josh Klinghoffer’s girlfriend now?
I’ll introduce his lover and his lovelife.
Josh Klinghoffer is an American musician, born in Los Angeles in 1979. He is the youngest living inductee to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for his work with Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
He joined the band in 2009, replacing guitarist John Frusciante, having an already established career with Warpaint and The Bicycle Thief. Josh Klinghoffer toured with Red Hot Chilli Peppers since John Frusciante left the band, but was heavily criticized by fans during his official start in the band in 2009.
Comparing him to the former guitarist, fans often claimed he was “untalented” and a bad musician. After releasing two more albums with the band, in 2011 and 2016, Klinghoffer gained some of the fans trust in his talents and have been acclaimed by music critics.
In his other projects, Klinghoffer has played drums and sung back and main vocals. Klinghoffer and Frusciante worked together in Warpaint’s debut EP, with Klinghoffer playing guitar and drums and Frusciante producing it.
Frusciante and Klinghoffer have also played together and worked together in other occasions, such as jams and a tour in 2009 with Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
Josh Klinghoffer is currently single.
Although he is famous, rich and a well respected guitarist, Josh Klinghoffer is very private about his love life. As far as the public knows, the musician is not dating anyone currently.
About love, he says having a band with friends he love is the most important thing (when talking about Dot Hacker). Since joining Red Hot Chilli Peppers, the musician states he is “a bit more solitary…” as he doesn’t have much more time available.
His only known ex-girlfriend is PJ Harvey, fellow musician and bandmate in Warpaint and other projects.
PJ Harvey is an english musician born in Bridport in 1969. She is famous for her solo projects, having received numerous prizes and nominations from Grammy, the Rolling Stones magazine, and others.
PJ Harvey have also contributed with Nick Cave from Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and other acts. She also dated Nick Cave and Josh Homme before dating Klinghoffer.
Klinghoffer and Harvey were together for one year, starting out in 2004 and breaking up in 2005, spanning the period the couple toured together for PJ Harvey.
Rumors have it that they got to know each other right before the tour and got close during it.
His Ideal Woman
It’s difficult to know what kind of woman Josh Klinghoffer likes because the musician is very private about his personal life.
In his interviews and public life, however, we can infer that he definitely likes the musician type, and is probably looking for a musical talent to compliment his own.
If we go off based on his past relationships, Klinghoffer is certainly looking for people with strong, colorful personalities, that have a talent or draw to them.
He does not seem the type to fall in love easily, and the woman must be special enough to catch his attention.
His Thoughts On Marriage
Josh Klinghoffer have not disclosed his thoughts on marriage and family. Little is know about this aspect of the musician’s life.
If we are to make assumptions based on interviews, Klinghoffer seems to miss having good company and would probably be happy in a relationship, although a tight work schedule doesn’t permit it.
His fan’s Thoughts
Little is known about his relationship with PJ Harvey. At the time, although PJ Harvey had a solid fanbase, Klinghoffer was little known.
Both artists are very private and for a long while their relationship was just speculation based on reports and media from PJ Harvey’s tour in 2004, where the relationship started.
The fans, discovering the relationship when the guitarist joined famous band Red Hot Chilli Peppers in 2009 seemed positive about the experience.
Being that the two of them are big names in the rock music industry, it is still a talking point between fans.
